Sharon, I really like your quote from "Yoga Gems". It seems like to be able to access our spontaneity & creativity, we need to be STILL. That is such a difficult practice to do when we are bombarded with everyday life: - almost unnatural in this 'try harder' dictated society. But stillness is everything!Beautiful blog, by the way.
I've always enjoyed helping students improve their physical, emotional and spirtual health through practicing yoga and ayurveda. As a massage therapist, middle eastern dancer and a lover of yoga I bring an earthy, open quality to my classes with a wealth of knowledge that is filled with information, solid instruction and a big dose of humor. I am RYT500 and registered with Yoga Alliance, a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, certified with "Yoga of the Heart" a wonderful therapy to help people with cardiac and cancer illness, certified Thai Yoga massage therapist, certified with the massage school ASIS for yoga and ayruveda. I enjoy customizing the class to meet the students fitness level and health requirements. My inspiration was my mother who was a very gifted psychic. She was always helping and assisting her friends and family with her gift. It was always a learning experience in our home that I cherished and will use in my practice to help heal the body, mind and spirit in a gentle and positive way. Namaste
